"I get it; I really do"
This is my first poem I've ever tried to write. I recently revised it - see that here. I updated this page on 6/6 to add this heading only.
I get it; I really do
Emancipation.
I get it; I really do.
To emancipate; To be freed.
Literally but more so Philosophically.... What does this mean?
Emancipation cannot absent a metamorphosis.
I get it; I really do.
Consider a life where one accepted direction from none.
Not even his Mum.
How should one accept direction from you?
I get it; I really do.
Considering it was my choosing to obligate to you.
Our decision to chain as one.
How can this be my excuse?
I get it; I really do.
Though, how is one is to re-chain?
Consider, he's already been loose.
Do you get this?
Do you really do?
